I’m Kim, the creative force behind Count In Threes Photo — a California native turned Midwestern creative, splitting my time between Arkansas and the DMV area. My love for photography began in 2003 when my dad gifted me my first film camera, and from that moment, I was captivated by the beauty of storytelling through imagery.
Over the years, I’ve photographed more than 250 weddings across the U.S., each one an opportunity to blend documentary authenticity with editorial sophistication. My approach is calm, intentional, and art-driven — so you can feel comfortable and fully present while I quietly capture the magic unfolding around you.
I’m endlessly inspired by historical architecture, fashion, and design, and I bring that same appreciation for detail into every frame I create. (Also: I have a soft spot for a great pair of heels and a timeless handbag — some habits never fade.)
Beyond the camera, I’m a wife, girl mom, and dog mom. My husband and I met on Bumble in 2017 and have been inseparable ever since. When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll find me exploring historic towns, sipping coffee, or planning the next creative project that sets my soul on fire.
Because to me, photography isn’t about transactions — it’s about trust, connection, and creating something that will outlive trends and timelines.
Your wedding day deserves more than posed photos — it deserves an experience. With Count In Threes Photo, you get more than a photographer; you get a calm presence, a creative director, and someone who values emotion as much as art.
I specialize in luxury wedding photography that feels editorial yet deeply personal — timeless images that tell the story of your love in its truest form. Whether it’s an estate wedding in Arkansas, a city celebration in D.C., or a destination affair abroad, every moment is approached with care, creativity, and intention.
