Working with me isn't just about getting beautiful pictures - though you'll get those. It's about a day that feels easy, where you actually get to be present instead of managing a photographer.
It starts with a real conversation. I want to know your story, how you want the day to feel, what you're excited about and what you're dreading. Whether it's a ballroom wedding in Washington, D.C. or an estate wedding tucked into the Arkansas hills, my approach blends documentary storytelling with editorial style wedding photography, creating images that feel both honest and elevated.
I handle the parts that stress people out: timeline, light, posing that doesn't feel like posing, talking to your planner. My job is to be calm so you can be too. That's usually when the real moments show up.
"Words don’t do Kim’s talent justice. That’s it. That is the review."
What I care about most is making your story feel like it matters — because it does. In the last seven years, I've photographed over 275 weddings across the U.S., and I'll happily travel to you, or with you. Whether it's a ballroom in Washington, D.C. or an estate tucked into the Arkansas hills, my work stays the same: documentary at heart, editorial in the eye.
This was never about "bookings" for me. It's about the connection — and being there, fully, for you.
I came up shooting editorial portraits and candid, in-between moments - so I bring both to a wedding day. The small details, the big emotions, the quiet stuff nobody else catches: that's what I'm watching for.
I'll guide you when you need it and stay out of the way when you don't - the goal is a day that feels as stress-free as possible. Once you're booked, I'll send everything you need to know about what to expect, plus a few tips to make it easy.
You'd rather be photographed living your day than posing through it.
Your aesthetic leans editorial — clean lines, considered details, nothing fussy.
You love a venue with a point of view: historic estates, art galleries, somewhere with character.
You care about how the day feels as much as how it looks.
A 90s-to-2000s drop at the reception would absolutely make your night. And odds are, there's a Goldie or a Lab waiting at home.
Kim has been so amazing from the start. You really want to find a photographer you mesh well with, you’re comfortable with, and can really be yourself with. Kim made Jake and I feel like we’d known her forever and she captured the purest and most loving and rememberable moments from our engagements to my bridals to our wedding day. She and her team outdid themselves and her talent is absolutely top notch. We couldn’t have trusted anyone else!

Kim was wonderful to work with and beautifully captured our wedding. There were so many small moments that we had forgotten about in the whirlwind of the day until we received our full album. Kim was somehow in the middle of everything, able to take hundreds of photos, without us ever seeing her. She's a photo ninja, and our album was absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional photographer!

Where to begin! Kim has been with us since our first engagement shoot in 2020, still managing to make magic happen amidst the pandemic, through my law school graduation photos and, most recently, our fairytale wedding in New Orleans. I seriously can't imagine having anyone else capture our special moments. She is so friendly, laid-back, and puts me and everyone else she is taking photos of at ease, yet she is a total pro and I am OBSESSED with the way she captures light. I can't wait to work with her more in the future and I can't recommend her enough to everyone! Kim's eye is incredible and, trust me, you need her to be the one capturing your most significant life events and creating them into beautiful memories. I know we will cherish her work forever.
